The ACHILES partners defined 52 tests for components and subsystems. The tests goals are to validate:
- the new wheel and brake concept;
- the central computing platform;
- the vehicle dynamics;
- and the out of phase e-drive controller and motor components.
Currently the tests are being executed and we are looking forward to meaningful results.
In addition, the testing and validation on vehicle level are defined and scheduled to start in January 2021.
On the baseline car (Q2 BEV) tests already have been performed on vehicle level. The tests will also be done with the ACHILES vehicle with all its implemented innovations. Thereby a clear verification will prove that the set goals of the project will be possible to reach.
